well, to make new friends, Ft. Worden was much better. On kitefestivals like Weifang, youŽll allways meet the same guys two or three times a year, traveling around on different festivals.

China was most interesting in culture and history...

Ralf

I can imagine the conversation (in chinese of course)

"I'll have that one.... and that one..... and that one.... oh and maybe that one ......."
"Certainly sir. The total comes to ....."
"I belong to MKF/KSGB/AKA* (delete where appropriate). How much discount can I get?"
"Would you like me to wrap them for you sir?"
"No thanks. I going outside and flying them straight away"
"Do you want some line?"
"Ymmm, yes. And I could also do with some ......."

Would you ever leave??

You are totally right, Peter Very Happy

We bought a extra (large) case in Weifang and left China with 48 kilo over limit (2x 30kg + 48kg = 108kg at all Embarassed

But - what would you say if you get the chance to buy a Centipede kite with 108 different sheaves for about USD 30,00?

Regards
Ralf
