At the right angle of viewing the diamonds become squares, which explains the odd shaped diamond in the middle of the 3 patterns, it is a fin and part of the run of "squares". <br /> <br /> Some time I must try flying it the other way <img src="http://www.kitebuilder.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" border="0" /> <img src="http://www.kitebuilder.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" border="0" /> <img src="http://www.kitebuilder.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif" alt="Laughing" border="0" /> <img src="http://www.kitebuilder.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif" alt="Laughing" border="0" /> <br />_________________<br />Trevor <br /> <br /> Growing old is compulsory <br /> Growing up is optional <br /> <br /> All knowledge is useful, you just dont know when</span><br /> Non-Kite Design & Construction :: RE: Photo-forensics, analyze this banner! http://www.kitebuilder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=76766#76766 Author: <a href="http://www.kitebuilder.com/forums/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=3" target="_blank">KiteSquid</a><br /> Posted: Fri May 09, 2008 1:49 pm (GMT 0)<br /> Topic Replies: 14<br /><br /> <span class="postbody">Then what would you call a zigzag that has one hole between the left and right? <br /> <br /> I tried to do a ASCII examples, but the forum software deletes multiple space characters.... <br /> <br /> <img src="http://www.solentsew.co.uk/images/stitches.gif" border="0" /> <br /> <br /> In the photo above (harvested from the Internet) on the left is a straight stitch. <br /> <br /> next is a zigzag stitch <br /> <br /> then some multipoint stitches that the host web site called <span style="font-style: italic">four point </span>and <span style="font-style: italic">six point</span> stitch, which is probably a more accurate name for the stitches.... so I stand corrected. <br />_________________<br />VR/ <br /> KiteSquid <br /> AKA TakoIka <br /> AKA Harold <br /> King George VA <br /> <br /> PS Yet another post by the Squid... <img src="http://www.kitebuilder.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif" alt="Shocked" border="0" /> Doesn’t he ever shut up? <br /> <br /> PPS The wind is like the air, only pushier. <br /> <br /> PPPS All information provided is for hobby use. After drilling a small hole in the front, and rear at the top, I made a wire suspension devise that has two loops. The line goes through those two loops and fasten to the kite line in two places with carabiners. This way the bubble machine stays level no matter the angle of flight line. It also stays pointing down wind that way, as well. <br /> <br /> I do have a scale. It weighs 1.5 lbs when loaded up ready to hang from the line. I think the 8 ft delta will have no problem hoisting it if the winds are 10 mph, or so. <br /> <br /> The bubble mixture does not seem to slosh out. Well, it may when the line goes slack and the machine bounces on the ground. However the reservoir is not very large, so it will need refilling frequently, it seems. <br />_________________<br /><img src="http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x102/kskiteguy/awalkingfoot-1.gif" border="0" /> <br /> <br /> Dave Ellis <br /> Kites + Kids = Education</span><br /> Single Line Kite Design & Construction :: RE: Jordan 200 Pre Cut Pieces Just Thinking http://www.kitebuilder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=76760#76760 Author: <a href="http://www.kitebuilder.com/forums/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2010" target="_blank">Pumpkin</a><br /> Posted: Fri May 09, 2008 5:50 am (GMT 0)<br /> Topic Replies: 157<br /><br /> <span class="postbody"></span><table width="90%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" border="0" align="center"><tr> <td class="quotetitle"><span class="genmed"><b>StringDriver wrote:</b></span></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="quotecontent">..............Frankly, I think it would be big of you to offer an apology ...........</td> </tr></table><span class="postbody"> <br /> <br /> </span><table width="90%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" border="0" align="center"><tr> <td class="quotetitle"><span class="genmed"><b>WhataKite wrote:</b></span></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="quotecontent">.........
