Pic Description: Semi-rigid (flexible spars only around the front panel) and 5-point bridle.
Made from 12 pentagons with all scrap fabric (nylon and poly ripstop).

A variation on the popular soccer ball. It's great to see a new shape... and a shape that seems difficult to create. I would never guess that those surfaces would remain flat. I bet it looks cools when the sun shines through and blends the different colors. I'd like to see this up close. Would be a good classroom project.

Reminds me of my high school days playing Dungons and Dragons.

Now you need a 4, 6, and 20 sided line art pieces too..

I like the use of 1 pattern vice the 2 that are required for a soccer ball.

Hard to beleive that it would stay in shape ...
it nearly looks round !

Have not been brave enough to try it !
Love the colours on it !
