Tyvek® is white, non-toxic, chemically inert and contains no binders. The non-woven sheet combines a good printing or coating surface, high opacity and toughness to a degree unique among sheet products of similar weight and price.

Kite Studio stocks type 1443 which works as good material for kites and a great material to create an "opaque barrier" in banner construction. It is often used for childrens kitebuilding workshops as it can easily be glued or taped. It can also be decorated with markers, crayons, and paints.

One word of warning: DONOT apply heat. Tyvek has a very low melting point.
