This Aluminum Micro Static Fitting is Kite Studio's version of the Ron Gibian/Bobby Stanfield rivet & ring fastener (made with permission). Using it on your kite will give you an attractive and functional way to connect the spar to the fabric. Each fitting is 5/8” long and comes with a split ring. The fitting must be glued on to the stick and a 1/4” nylon loop must be sewn on sail to attach split ring. These fittings are commonly used with bow lines in conjunction with a hairpipe tensioner, or with an adjutable fitting (static on one end, adjustable on the other). Generally for smaller sticks - solid fiberglass, micro graphite, or linear graphite 1250 to 2300.

This size will fit the RLG2300 or any spar with a .230" outside diameter.
